September 6: A highlight of the day will be the men’s up to 72kg and women’s up to 61kg finals, including stars like Bonnie Bunyau Gustin, the reigning Paralympic champion and world record holder, and Amalia Perez, a four-time Paralympic gold medallist from Mexico.

September 7: Look out for the women’s up to 73kg and men’s up to 88kg categories, with competitors such as Tan Yujiao of China, who is expected to dominate her category.

September 8: The final day will showcase the heaviest categories, including the men’s over 107kg and women’s over 86kg finals, capping off the powerlifting events with a thrilling showdown.

Results to Watch

Several athletes are anticipated to shine at the Paris Paralympics. Malaysia’s Bonnie Bunyau Gustin, already a standout with multiple world titles, is heavily favored in the men’s up to 72kg category. Similarly, Amalia Perez aims for a remarkable fifth consecutive Paralympic gold in the women’s up to 61kg class, making her one of the most watched athletes at the Games. Meanwhile, in the men’s up to 80kg category, Iranian Rostami Roohallah will attempt to defend his title against strong competitors like China’s Gu Xiaofei.
