Tough times call for tough individuals and Energizer has been experiencing a rough market over the past decade or so. Prompting the company to adapt. Since its key product was the battery, and most OEMs these days produce their own rechargeable batteries for their mobile devices. The company has quickly lost its market.
So for the past few years, the company too has been producing phones. And in the forthcoming Mobile World Congress 2019 that will be held like the rest (MWC), at Barcelona. Energizer has announced it will be unveiling 26 new models across four lines of smartphones.

The company is set to unveil new models under the Energy and Hardcase lines. The lines will also include basic feature phones and take up a good portion of the 26 phones to be unveiled. The third line of Energizer smartphones will be the Power Max smartphones, which will come with groundbreaking batteries.
The Power Max line will carry the Energizer brand name at the MWC 2019. The company says the Power Max line will feature smartphone being juiced by a whopping 18,000 mAh battery. [PS: the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery].
18000 mAh!! Well, if a phone is going to bear the Energizer brand name, it’d better have a long-lasting battery #MWC19 🐰🥁🕶️🐇 pic.twitter.com/dLZuPTo5As

Energizer will also be unveiling a fourth line, dubbed the Ultimate line. This line will have six premium smartphone, including a foldable device. The Energizer Ultimate U620S Pop and U630S Pop will feature dual selfie pop-up camera, a first for smartphone cameras. The camera will feature a 16MP main camera supported by a 2MP sensor.
The U630S Pop will come with a 6.3-inch, 720p+ display and a somewhat less powerful MediaTek Helio P22 processor backed by 4GB RAM. The devices will be juiced by a 3,500 mAh battery.
The U570S, U620S, and U650S will not have the pop-up camera but instead feature a teardrop notch similar to that of the OnePlus 6T. So far, Energizer has not given official communication on the prices of any of the above-mentioned phones, but we do know the U620S and U630S Pop will be released in June. While the U570S will come out in April, and the U650S in October.
