To look for such jobs we scoured Reddit threads to see the comments of actual people who are making over $60,000 in jobs without any stress.
Security Guard
Working as a security guard at a high-security government or military facility could be one of the high-salary, low-stress jobs these days. The stress is low in such jobs since there’s hardly a security breach or attack at such facilities. Pay could be anywhere between $50,000 per year to $70,000 but it depends heavily on your designation and company. Medical radiologist technologist
Medical radiologist technologist is a low-stress, high-paying job since you don’t have to deal with patients all the time. Your job is just to do the x-ray and deliver it to the doctor and staff. Since it’s not a patient-facing job, medical radiologists can do their job and go home without worrying about other things later in the day or night. However, a Redditor noted that this is true only for x-rays. When it comes to MRI and other advanced scans things can become a little stressful.

This is strictly for XRays only not CT or MRI of which is more stressful since you’re on a schedule. I kind of like my job.

The demand for excellent editors is rising amid an increase in consumption of digital content. Here is a Redditor who makes a whopping $200,000 a year (wife’s salary included) editing textbooks online.
“Wife and I have graduate degrees in journalism and humanities. The rest was really right time/right place just as the publishing houses were transitioning from paper-based galley proofs to computer-platform content. The subject of the books doesn’t matter as long as it’s not higher math or other disciplines that are symbol-based. Combined, we pull in about 200,000 a year; but that’s after many years of building a network in the very small industry centered in NYC. We visit Manhattan about twice a year to look into people’s faces and cement more work. I sometimes forget how lucky I am.”
