Earlier yesterday, Wilbur Ross, the US Commerce Secretary, was accused of being out of touch with reality for saying Federal workers should take out loans to pay their everyday bills. Comments made by Ross, who is a multimillionaire and a serial investor, led to President Trump being asked by reporters on the statement he (Ross) made.
The current US government shutdown is the longest in the history of the country. There are about 800,000 federal workers across the US who missed they paycheck on Friday, and there is no sign yet of the shutdown coming to an end.
President Trump response, when asked for his comments on Ross’s remark, has led to people on Twitter trolling him. Below is a video clip showing what President Trump said:

So to recap, the billionaire(-ish) president’s multimillionaire commerce secretary—who, like his boss, is mired in possibly criminal ethics violations that involve profiting off of his office—goes on TV and says he doesn’t understand what the big deal is about not getting paid

What a strange way of saying “I’ve actually never grocery shopped before in my life.” https://t.co/bUfdYvtTGx

Trump’s fantasy of regular person life is so corny and so baffling. He thinks we all live in small towns and shop at mom and pop grocery stores that are also somehow surrounded by MS-13 “invaders” and there’s carnage in the streets. Pick a lane/collapse on a toilet. pic.twitter.com/RmmL00Qesg

WTF is this idiot talking about? This is a dangerous fool holding Americans hostage so he can keep one promise to his extreme lunatic base. If the Dems don’t grow a spine and impeach, they are putting party before country just like the GOP. America Cannot afford 2 more years!
