First, you will need to take a backup of your iPhone in iTunes.
Download iBackupBot in your PC. Launch the software. It gives you a complete access to iTunes folders. Head over to the backup folder of your iPhone.
Click Multimedia File Manager and click on the other Multimedia files tab.
Search for “MediaDomain/Library/SMS/Attachments” and highlight everything you see in this. Click “Delete”.
Head over to System Files>MediaDomain>Library>SMS>Attachments.
All data items and messages which are saved will be mentioned here. Select all and delete.
Now Restore the backup using iTunes.
That’s it. All saved messages will be deleted.
The second method to delete saved messages in iPhone also works perfectly. Here’s how to implement it.
Backup your device using iTunes and then using iCloud.
Launch Settings app in your iPhone. Go to iCloud and toggle “Documents and Data” option to OFF.
Now take another backup of your device on iTunes and iCloud.
Now restore the device from the iCloud. That’s it. Saved messages will not be there anymore.
