Cheki.com.ng Appreciates her Ibadan Car Dealers
Nigeria’s No 1 car website, cheki.com.ng presented free signages to dealers in Ibadan as a sign of appreciation for loyalty towards the brand over the years. Cheki.com.ng which is focused on creating the best online car buying experience for the Nigerian market scheduled the event to also hold a heart-to-heart session with the dealers and learn how to improve on their experience on the cheki.com.ng platform.
In his welcome speech, the Assistant General Manager of cheki.com.ng, Mr Gabisiu Yusuf reiterated that the mission of the company is to create the best platform for buyers and sellers of automobile in Nigeria to interact and carry out safe and successful transactions. In his words, “cheki’s current focus is to give the visitors the best experience and cars to choose from, also to work with dealers and private sellers to sell their cars advertised on the website”
The event which witnessed the attendance of most of Ibadan car dealers had some of them testifying on how Cheki has contributed to the growth of their businesses. Mr. Gbenga Ogunyemi of Discount Motors acknowledged that “Cheki has been really good for business”. Others lauded the contributions of the Cheki platform to their return on investment.
The head of the Private Seller Department, Mr. Jude Okodo gave an insight into who the private seller department of the company carters to. He said that “the private seller department services individuals that have cars to sell but are not real dealers and do not have registered car lots”. He included that the idea behind this is to ensure that everybody have a chance to sell off their vehicles on the cheki.com.ng platform.
The question and answer session saw the Cheki team attending to the issues raised by the dealers and satisfactory answers were provided.
The event was concluded with the presentation of Signages to Ibadan dealers by the Marketing Manager, Amara Njoku.
Cheki.com.ng is an online car marketplace where all leading Nigerian dealers, importers and private sellers advertise their cars for prospective buyers of automobile. The company currently owns the larger share of the online car market with over 2,000 dealers on the platform, 80,000 cars online and 7.4million visits this year.
