Nigerian Startup Makes Business Card Printing Easier Than Ever
Business cards are immensely important in any entrepreneurship and profit yielding activity and regarded as a nifty tool in networking with others. A business card represents your business identity and domain. It’s a sign of your personality and how you deal with your customers so it must be up to the mark, specific and interesting enough to catch the eyes of the potential customers. For mining out the problems of printing the business cards in Africa, a new web-to-print startup called Printivo.com has just started its services in Nigeria. Printivo is peculiar of its sort and eyes to deplete all the problems businessmen face in getting good, long lasting, interesting and professional business cards of their choice. Customization is one thing Printivo targets and that’s why, everyone can just open their website, choose an existing design template, design a template on the fly or even upload own business card templates.

“Printing sucks for Nigerians, we launched our services to make it suck less,” says Oluyomi Ojo, who is the ‘chief idea officer’ of Printivo.com. He says that the Nigerian startup offers free delivery of printed business cards in all the areas within Lagos, and he has plans to launch this service in other parts of Africa as well.

The main idea behind this amazing printing startup is to ease the people in Nigeria and boost the growth of business activity which is yet ceased because of the small to medium enterprises (SMEs) problems and high cost of individuals to print short runs or small print projects. The project is completely bootstrapped and was taken up as an individual idea based venture, having no funding or guidance from the government. The idea is really useful and experts predict that Printivo will definitely get a swift popularity in Africa in the upcoming years.

“Sales are gradually coming in, we believe it will increase as we are receiving lots of hits and page view. Inquiries are also coming in numbers,” says the chief idea officer of Printivo.
