Lagos-based Capital Square is Hosting another Demo Day on September 1st

Capital Square, touted to be the best co-working space in the city of Lagos by the international consulting firm Nomad Capitalist, is hosting its eighth Demo Day come September 1st, 2016. The co-working space, frequented mostly by freelancers and entrepreneurs hosts the pitch competition Demo Day quarterly per year.

The day will entail founders, startups, entrepreneurs, businesses, and innovators looking for visibility and investors in their products. It also serves as an opportune moment for them to widen their network and get feedback on their products.

The Demo Day is usually free and open to the public. It also attracts the attention of the media (and bloggers) and investors looking for their next venture capital initiative. The Sept 1st Demo Day will feature Asuqu, Accountinghub, and Fuel Voucher; the three are considered the most disruptive startups currently in the local market scene.

What’s a typical Demo Day like?

The startups will be given a chance to demo their product before members of the public, bloggers, investors, and media. They will then be given feedback by the people in attendance. This feedback will then be used by the startups to tweak further and improve their products.

When/What Time is the Event?

The 8th Demo Day will take place on Sept 1st, 2016 at the Capital Square premises on Garnet Building, with this address Lekki – Epe Express Road, Lekki, Lagos 101245. The kickoff time is 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (WAT).
