AWIT Presents Virtual Conference on The Digital Society | July 3-4

by Innov8tiv.com

The next African Women in Technology (AWIT) conference is going to be an all-virtual event, with all the measures for fighting COVID-19 observed. The past conferences have been quite impactful on women in (and those aspiring to pursue) STEM from across Africa. It would have been such a shame were the coronavirus pandemic derail the 2020 programs.

Then again, the COVID-19 pandemic has simply fast-tracked the shift to the next step in the evolution of how humanity performs tasks through ICT. For instance, telecommuting was something that was already begging to take root in so many spheres of the economy. The outbreak of the pandemic has simply made more individuals and companies take to these emerging opportunities a bit earlier on than they would, otherwise, have.

Event’s Theme: The Digital Society

The next AWIT conference slated for July 3-4, 2020 will be focusing on The Digital Society. Where the panelist, all attending virtually, will delve into how technology has created a digital space where business can be executed online. The panelist will be drawn from different fields including digital marketers, user experience researchers, and entrepreneurs.

Some of the topics to be covered by the panelist are as follows:

Digital Marketing – Community Building In The Digital Age

Entrepreneurship Through E-Commerce
