If you the type that loves being the center of attention and getting stares at Starbucks or coffee shops while working on your laptop. The new Razer Project Valerie laptop is guaranteed to be an eye magnet.
Dubbed Project Valerie, the new Razer laptop comes with two retractable displays that open up and give you three screens. Yes, three screens on your typical sized laptop; almost like what you find on power users workstations of desktop computers. Except this one is battery powered and portable laptop.
Like all other Razer laptops, the Project Valerie laptop is tailor-made for gamers’ needs. So you can expect some pretty goliath specs, especially in the graphic processing unit department. As icing on the cake, the laptop’s triple monitors come in 17-inch size. The Project Valerie laptop was first showcased at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The laptop has one display fixed in the usual position and two additional displays that slide out of the primary display. You would think having three screens would make the laptop bigger! Well, it is only 1.5 inches thick and weight just 12 pounds.
The computer is tailor-made for hardcore gamers and users who do heavy multitasking purposes.
“Our determination is to push the limits of what is possible in the form factor notebook,” said Vincent Chen, the Associate Product Marketing Manager of Systems at Razer. “A single display can only give you so much information.”
With Project Valerie Razer laptop, you get the power of a desktop computer with multiple display views.
“The complexities of a traditional multi-monitor setup are a thing of the past with Project Valerie,” said Min-Liang Tan, the Co-Founder, and CEO of Razer. “Equally important, the power of a desktop computer and graphics capabilities of three top-end monitors are included in the system. There is no shortcoming in the way of performance in the face of its amazing portability and features.”
