So U.S. President Donald Trump took to Twitter with a photo of himself and a string of well-chosen words read ‘The Wall is Coming. Ít doesn’t take a genius to see that those words are a little derivative from the TV Series Game of Thrones where there is the talk of ‘Winter is Coming’ and the presence of a giant wall stretching over 300 miles separating the North and the South.
In GoT, the wall keeps away the ‘wildlings and the white walkers’ who live in the North, outside the realms of the Seven Kingdoms. President Trump tweet would have well served the purpose, in fact, very well, had the fictional wall in the series not have been breached. Thereby rendering the whole point of a wall border between the United States and its southern neighbor to be unworthwhile undertaking.
